Key words for directions: Studying the following list will help students prepare for their oral exam later this week.  Students will have to give accurate directions from Point A to Point B on a map.

la calle -  the street

la avenida - the avenue

la cuadra - the block

la esquina - the corner

dobla - turn

camina - walk

sigue - continue / keep goin

adelante - forward

recto - straight

derecha - right 

izquierda - left

después de eso - after that

There is a vocabulary quiz on Monday on the second round of city vocabulary.  Make sure you have the following 16 words down.  Remember to practice the spelling, most spelling errors are worth 1/2 point:
